Eligibility - The Locust Hill Amateur Championship is open to all amateur golfers with a current USGA handicap. A verification handicap form must accompany application and registration fee.

Format - The tournament format is gross stroke play with USGA rules in effect. Players will be placed in flights based on handicap. Flights will ultimately be determined based on level of participation and handicap ranges. Proposed flights and tees are as follows:

• Championship Flight: 0 - 4.9 handicap (Will Play from Black Tees)
• A Flight: 5.0 - 9.9 handicap (Will play from White Tees)
• B Flight: 10.0 -14.9 (Will play from White Tees)
• C Flight: 15.0 and above (Will play from White Tees)

In the event of a tie for a flight champion, there will be an immediate sudden death playoff. All other ties for top finishers will be determined by Sunday’s scorecard.

Prizes - Gross division winners will be awarded gift certificates and trophies. Second and third place finishers of all flights will be awarded gift certificates. The final number of participants will determine the total prize payout. The overall Jefferson County Amateur Champion will receive no less than a $700.00 gift certificate. Gift certificates are redeemable in the pro shop.

Entries - The entry fee of $175.00 includes golf fees for 54 holes of golf with cart, welcome gift, Champions Dinner, and awards. Entries into the Skins Game are optional and will include an additional charge.

Cancellation Policy - If a player withdraws or cancels prior to registration closing on Monday, July 5th, there will be a $100.00 cancellation fee. There will be NO refund do to a cancellation or withdrawal after close of registration on July 5th.

Application, handicap verification form, and entry fee of $175.00 must be received by Monday July 5th, 2010. Post entries will not be accepted. Applications will be accepted beginning June 1st, 2010 and limited to the first 120 entries, with priority given to the Championship Flight.

Starting times and pairings will be available at tournament check in on Friday, July 9th.
